For flights within the European Union or the European Economic Area, all carriers hold a valid Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued by a competent civil aviation authority under EASA or national standards. For other jurisdictions, all carriers are duly authorized under the applicable aviation laws and regulations of the relevant state.
